Falling Balls (Beginner)

Beginner's Tutorial

In this tutorial you will learn how to:

  • add physics to your projects;
  • randomize objects positioning;
  • work with Physics Editor, from Code and Web, and integrate it with Kwik 2;

You can download the project files here. My thanks to Matthew Peacock at Anonymous Creative Group for providing the demo direction and Photoshop file!

  1. This tutorial and the others recommended were very helpful, but one thing I took me a while to figure out :
    all of the images for a page can be published to the same poly.lua file for the page. I have a number of toys on one page and was making a separate lua file for each. Things got a bit mixed up. You just import all of the images, used the wand, etc., to set the outline of each object, then publish the file.

    I was also wasn’t sure of where the poly.lua file should be saved to. Best place is the project folder, then let Kwik import it into the build folder.

    Hope these tips might be helpful to others who are less experienced with such things. :)
