If you cannot see the following information, try to enable the plugin first. In Photoshop, go to menu Window-Extensions-Kwik 2 and enable it.
When you start Photoshop for the first time after installing Kwik 2, you will see the Welcome Screen:

The Welcome Screen reminds users about the importance of setting up Flash before start to use Kwik. The correct configuration of Flash is mandatory for the external code features. More about it at http://www.kwiksher.com/learn-kwik/setting-flash/ – Important: you need to set Flash for Kwik 2 even if you have already set it for Kwik 1.
To learn more about the installation, just click the info button. Clicking the Setup button opens the configuration window. After finishing the configuration, you can enable the Do not show this window again option.
Hitting OK, you will be sent to the Settings window, another important milestone to check before starting to use Kwik’s full potential.

I just installed K2 and am running PS CS6 in OS 10.8.1. Adobe Extension Manager shows the K2 extension enabled for PS. I quit and restarted PS, but I am not seeing the “Welcome to Kwik” splash screen, and there is no “K2″ palette window anywhere.
What’s up?
You need to remove K2 (beta) first, before to install Kwik 2 (final bits). Check your Settings and verify if you have the Show Welcome window checked.
I have the same problem CS5 64 bit. uninstalled k2 and installed kwik 2 welcome screen does not show.
This is because Kwik 2 uses the same settings file used for K2 (you probably disabled the option to show the Welcome window, right?). If you want to see the Welcome window again, enable it in the Settings.
Which settings are you talking about? I have the same issue. Never had k2 installed. Just installed kwik2 but splash screen doesn’t pop-up when starting photoshop.
I meant Kwik’s Settings window: http://www.kwiksher.com/learn-kwik2/settings/
